Mr. Granda has a long history on the stage, in film and in the art world. He began his career as an actor at The Neighborhood Playhouse in NYC studying under the guidance of Sanford Meisner and William Alderson.
WRITER/DIRECTOR: Joseph has just written and directed his first feature film titled THE HEALING GARDEN set for release in 2021
STAGE: Joseph originated the role of TIPPY, the singing junkie in the Broadway show CLUB HOUSE MADNESS. The New York Times called his staring role as TCHAIKOVSKY in the off-Broadway play based on the composers life, an "Inspiration."
FILM: Joseph starred opposite Academy Award-winner, Mira Sorvino in the New Line Cinema film AMONGST FRIENDS, written and directed by Rob Weiss. He has played opposite Keanu Reeves in Alfonso Arau’s A WALK IN THE CLOUDS, opposite Eric Roberts, Theresa Russell and James Marsden in the HBO original film PUBLIC ENEMIES. He starred in Artisans’ theatrically released’ film CAUGHT UP, opposite Snoop Dog and LL Cool J.
MEDIA: In 2007 writing as Joseph Lindsey, Joseph became one of the founding writers at Breitbart News assigned to cover Hollywood from a center-right perspective. He is currently a contributor at Hollywood In Toto cover faith in film.
SCREENWRITER: Joseph’s screenwriting credits include SMELLS LIKE SCHOOL SPIRIT for Red Door Development and WINNING AT WATERLOO for Bright Pictures. His screenplay WHITE NOISE was purchased by Saleem Films. In 2015, his screenplay OUT OF THE FLATIRONS was a finalist in the Kairos Prize for spiritually uplifting films. Most recently he wrote THE HEALING GARDEN for Shine The Light Creative Prod. A film he went on to direct. He has recently completed THE SUPER AWESOME, a film he will direct in 2021.
His most ambitious screenplay, THE MARRIAGE OF ADAM AND EVE does for the Genesis story what Mel Gibson's THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST did for the Gospels.
PRODUCTION: Behind the scenes, Joseph worked his way up the production ladder beginning with his stint as director Abel Ferrara’s personal assistant on the films KING OF NEW YORK, BAD LIEUTENANT, and INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS. He has worked alongside CHRISTOPHER WALKIN, HARVEY KEITEL, ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER and VAL KILMER.
Joseph continued working behind the scenes as a Production Assistant on numerous big budget films. Turning his eye to the commercial production world, he became a Second Assistant Director and first AD with PAUL DECKTOR and TONY SCOTT on numerous television commercials along with some of Los Angeles' top production companies.

ARTIST: Mr. Granda has traveled the world with envisaged solo shows at some of the worlds most prestigious galleries and museums from New York City to Venice Italy. Mr. Granda’s most recent show, “Imitation is the Sincerest form of Crabmeat” at ESCC was some of his most controversial work.
Mr. Granda's work can be found in some of the most prestigious private collections in NYC, Tokyo, Los Angeles, Silicon Valley and Aspen Colorado.
Artist Statement: If making art is not a compulsion you should immediately stop. My art is for those who refuse to take life seriously and are free of censorship in what they think, say or do. I use words in my art to better tell a more cohesive narrative in the work. As art is the process of creation, I give all the glory of my work to God the creator.

PERSONAL: Joseph lives in Colorado with his wife and daughter where he cuts his grass, helps his neighbors and goes to church, living out the life of a modern day punk!
